Winter hikes in Tschierv

Bathed in sunshine the panoramic high route leads through the isolated and snow-clad landscape above the Val Müstair. Highlights: Alp Champatsch, whose original buildings now stand in the Swiss Open-Air Museum in Ballenberg, and the little village of Lü, claimed to be the darkest place in Switzerland.

High trail with a magnificent panorama between Lü and Craistas, ending at the Fuldera Furom cross-country skiing centre.

On foot to Alp Champatsch and by sledge back to the valley to Lü or Tschierv.

Short descending winter hike from the upper part of the village to the centre of Tschierv. The beautiful view stretches from the «la vallada» cross-country ski trail in front of our feet and the «Tour de Ski» trail all the way out of the valley with the imposing mountain range from Piz Lad to Piz Chavalatsch and even the Ortler can be seen.

Hiking trail from the Era Sot valley station to the Alp Da Munt mountain restaurant. The same path down may also be used as a toboggan run. Take your sledge with you.
