Ab Bushaltestelle Tschierv, Süsom gelangen wir auf den Winterwanderweg-Einstieg, indem man bis zur Kurve der Ofenpassstrasse zurückgeht und geradeaus abwärts bis zum Dorf Tschierv hinunterläuft.

Public transport

  • With the Rhaetian Railway (from Chur, Landquart/Prättigau or Upper Engadine) hourly to Zernez
  • By PostBus from Zernez to Tschierv, Süsom

Getting there

  • Von Norden: über Landquart – Klosters per Autoverlad durch den Vereinatunnel (Selfranga - Sagliains) oder über den Flüelapass nach Zernez auf H27. Von Zernez auf der H28 ins Val Müstair bis nach Tschierv. 
  • Von Süden und Osten: via Reschenpass (Nauders) oder Bozen auf der SS40 bis nach Mals. Von Mals auf der SS41 bis an die Schweizer Grenze nach Müstair. Von Müstair auf der H28 bis nach Tschierv.

Technical Equipment for Winter Hiking

  • Hiking poles fitted with snow baskets
  • Trail ‘spike’ crampons at minimum and a basic ice axe are recommended when covering steeper terrain
