The mountain bike tour starts in Müstair. Alternatively, it can also be started in Sta. Maria. The route climbs up the Umbraupass road to the top of the pass. There is a lot of motorbike traffic on the pass road, which can get on your nerves in the long run. If you want to save yourself the metres in altitude on the Umbrail Pass, you can take the post bus to the top twice in the morning. Online reservations are essential.

Immediately after the pass summit, a trail turns off to the right towards Bocchetta di Forcola. The last metres in altitude have to be pushed. An amazing view awaits you at the top.

After a short stretch on a trail peppered with loose stones, the next ascent to Bocchetta di Pedenolo follows on the left. From here it's all flowing down the mountain. A wide, rough gravel path. Alternatively, a trail crosses the path again and again.

Two light blue reservoirs await you at the bottom. Return via a beautiful trail into Val Mora and back via Sta. Maria to Müstair.
