PostBus stop Tarasp, Fontana
Turn-by-turn directions
From the PostBus stop in Tarasp, Fontana, walk a short distance up the road to Tarasp, Sparsels. At the end of the village, at the car park, turn right up to Kreuzberg with a wonderful view. From there, the trail descends on the other side to a little road with almost no traffic. Follow this uphill for a few hundred metres. At the fork, follow the markings to Lai Nair, which is reached after a few loops. Near the mountain lake, the trail leads up to a hiking path. This runs above the castle and leads back down to Tarasp, Fontana.

- By Rhaetian Railway (from Chur, Landquart/Prättigau or from the Upper Engadine) hourly to Scuol-Tarasp station
- By PostBus (from Martina, Sent, Ftan or Tarasp) hourly to Scuol-Tarasp station
- Continue by PostBus to the PostBus stop Tarasp, Fontana
By road
- From the north: via Landquart – Klosters by car transport through the Vereina Tunnel (Selfranga – Sagliains) or via the Flüela Pass into the Lower Engadine on H27
- From the east: via Landeck / Austria in the direction of St. Moritz on H27From south: via Reschenpass (Nauders – Martina) or Ofenpass (Val Müstair – Zernez) on H27
- From the Engadin road (H27) take the Tarasp Vulpera exit
