From Lavin follow the signs in the direction of Chamonna dal Linard. Shortly after leaving the village, a sparse forest begins. The footpath crosses the forest road several times before reaching the Plan dal Bügl viewpoint. If desired, a cab can be reserved to Plan dal Bügl (see further information). With the mighty Piz Linard, the highest peak of the Silvretta, in view, the path climbs in a pleasant gradient up to the Chamonna dal Linard. The hut is open during the summer months. The trail continues up to the Glims lakes, partly following the outflow stream of the lakes. The lakes are located in the middle of an alpine landscape and are ideal for a lunch break. Directly after the uppermost lakes, the summit of Piz Linard begins. Between this and the Piz Glims further to the left, you can already make out the Fuorcla da Glims crossing, the highest point of the hike. On the other side of the Fuorcla there is a short descent into the Val Sagliains. A small footbridge leads to the other side of the Aua da Sagliains. Follow this wild mountain stream through the entire Val Sagliains until you reach the forest road again above the Vereina car transport station, which leads you back to Lavin via the Aua da Sagliains.
