Literary, musical and cinematic events as well as lectures and courses demonstrate the vitality and openness of the Rhaeto-Romanic language, art and culture. It also offers outstanding contemporary art and is committed to an open and modern Romansh language, art and culture.
The 'maisa raduonda', the round table, brings together locals and guests two to three times a year to discuss cultural themes of the Val Müstairs.

Public transport
- With the Raetian Railroad (from Chur, Landquart/Prättigau or from the Upper Engadin) hourly to Zernez train station.
- Continue with the PostBus (from Zernez or Mals) hourly to the Valchava PostBus stop, posta
- From the post office stop Valchava we are about 100 meters away, south on the right.

From the north: via Landquart - Klosters by car transport through the Vereina tunnel (Selfranga-Sagliains). From Zernez on the H28 into Val Müstair to Valchava (45 minutes drive from Vereina south portal).
From the east: via Reschenpass (Nauders) on the SS40 to Mals. From Mals on the SS41 to the Swiss border to Müstair. From Müstair on the H28 to Valchava.
From the Valchava post office stop we are about 100 meters away, south on the right.
By road
- Von Norden: über Landquart - Klosters per Autoverlad durch den Vereinatunnel (Selfranga-Sagliains). Von Zernez auf der H28 ins Val Müstair bis nach Valchava (45 Minuten Fahrtzeit ab Vereina Südportal).
- Von Osten: via Reschenpass (Nauders) auf der SS40 bis nach Mals. Von Mals auf der SS41 bis an die Schweizer Grenze nach Müstair. Von Müstair auf der H28 bis nach Valchava.
- Die Chasa Jaura befindet sich gegenüber der Kirche mitten im Dorf von Valchava.
