Mountain hikes in Tarasp

Wonderful mountain panorama with Tarasp Castle, typical Engadine houses decorated with sgraffito and pure nature at the small mountain lake Lai Nair.

From the village of Tarasp the hike leads through the forest, beyond the tree line to Crap Putèr. The summit rewards you with one of the most beautiful views of the Lower Engadine.

Through the hamlets of Fontana, Chaposch, Valacha and Aschera over the adventurous suspension bridge to Ardez. The Tarasp Castle and the Steinsberg castle ruins in Ardez can be seen from afar as the striking starting and finishing points of this easy hike.
