Mountain biking trails in Lavin

The region around the Swiss National Park is an E-MTB paradise. The terrain is neither too steep nor too flat and ideal for riding an e-mountain bike.

The first stage of the Engiadina Bassa 442 regional biking route involves a lot of altitude. After a leisurely start, the tour becomes increasingly demanding in terms of fitness.

The regional Engiadina Bassa bike route leads from Susch to Martina. It runs past original Engadine villages to the national border. 

En route between the hometown of Schellen-Ursli and the film location of the correspondent film. Scenically many sided round tour from Ardez to Sur En, alongside Giarsun and Lavin and over Guarda and Bos-cha back to the starting point. Sur En d'Ardez was the film location of the cinema movie Schellen-Ursli in 2015, whose story was created and plays in Guarda. After the longer ascent from the Inn bridge to Sur En and from Lavin to Guarda, a rest at the site is welcome. In between, rapid descents through scenically many sided forests are waiting as well as impressive views into traditional and award-winning Engiadina villages.

The national park is crossed in four stages – and without luggage, which is brought from hotel to hotel every day. Three hotel categories are available and many bike highlights like the cliff ravine in the Val d'Uina, the Passo del Gallo and the Bernina express trail wait for their discovery.

You have to be pretty good to be able to do this tour in one day. Otherwise, the route can be turned into a two- or multi-day tour.
