By car: Whether you arrive by car, by the Flüela Pass, via Chur-Thusis-Tiefencastel by the Julier Pass, by the Albula Pass (only open in summer) or by the Ofen Pass, you will always be thrilled. If there is snowfall, it is only allowed to cross the passes with chains or 4x4 vehicles.
By train: The journey with the Rhaetian Railway (RhB) from Chur - Tiefencastel - Engadin, with its helical tunnels and dizzying viaducts, is one of the most picturesque and technically interesting railway lines in Europe. There is also the option of travelling from Landquart via Klosters - Vereina Tunnel to the Engadine. You reach Zernez from Zurich HB in 2.5 - 3 hours.
